Claude Max and Team plans add monthly API credits: up to $200 (Max) and up to $500 (Team)
Claude Max and Team plans now include monthly API credits: $100/month on Max 5x and $200/month on Max 20x; Team credits are pooled at the organization level at $20 per Standard seat plus $100 per Premium seat per month, capped at $500 per organization per month (min(20 x Standard seats + 100 x Premium seats, 500)). Credits are granted per billing cycle and unused credits expire at the end of each cycle with no rollover; annual plans receive credits monthly. Eligibility: new subscribers can claim once they have been on an eligible plan for seven days; claim by linking one Claude Console organization in web billing settings (Settings > Billing for Max, Organization settings > Billing for Team). One subscription links one organization, and each organization receives credits from only one subscription; no additional Console payment method is required to claim or use the credits. Credits are separate from subscription usage limits and do not raise chat or interactive Claude Code limits. Covered: the official Claude Platform API, Agent SDK, Managed Agents, and Playground; self-run claude -p with an API key from the linked organization qualifies. Not covered: interactive Claude Code (terminal, IDE, desktop, web), Claude app extra usage, and other platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Google Cloud Vertex AI, and Microsoft Foundry; runs started by the Claude Code GitHub Action, an IDE extension, or the desktop app count as Claude Code usage even with -p. Credits are not transferable, resellable, or redeemable for cash. Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans are not eligible. Claim steps: 1. Sign in to your Claude account and open web billing settings (Settings > Billing for Max; Organization settings > Billing for Team); 2. Link a Claude Console organization; 3. Claim the monthly API credits as instructed; 4. Check the Console for the granted amount and expiry.
